ABSTRACT
The global economy is constantly and continuously witnessing transformative changes in the field of corporate responsibility with definitions daily emerging for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and along with that incorporation of the term sustainability has began since a few years. In traditional pictures CSR used to revolve around acts of simple and convenient philanthropy and compliance, but now in present times where one-fourth of 21st century had almost passed CSR is getting a new face makeup where it has to join hands with sustainability. And not only join hands but ensure that sustainability become the part and parcel of maximum companies actively working across the planet. This concern has arisen out of burning environmental issues like greenhouse emissions, depleting fuel/mineral resources, exhausting water reservoirs etc. Firms and organisations are constantly facing pressure from stakeholders, regulatory bodies, government and environmental organisations
